The Actual Two Oaks
My father left this physical world and became my guardian angel in early June 2024. In June 2026, he welcomed and reunited with my mother in the spiritual realm. Before my mom died, her last request for me was, "I want you to plant two oak trees, one for me and one for your father - the love of my life for over 70 years. Vermont has enough maple trees. I want oaks because they will produce acorns that will help feed all the critters." And there you have it, the inspiration for my business name.
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience."
- The two oak trees trees are symbolic anchors of endurance and stability in a world of ever-changing seasons and environmental conditions.
- The bird moves effortlessly between sky, water, and land - showing incredible adaptability to all circumstances.
- Here in Vermont, the black bear inhabits the top spot in the food chain. However, it is hardly considered an apex predator as its preferred diet consists of plants, nuts, berries, and insects.
- Rain/Snow fall onto the mountains and eventually finds it way to the valley floor to sustain all of life in a lake.
